Testimonial from Marcia Williams, ATCAA Early Childhood Services Director:
"We are always delighted when we can hire graduates from the Columbia College Child Development Program. We have found that when we hire teachers who are graduates from this program we get well-rounded teachers who can work well with other staff, parents and children. They are compassionate, caring and professional."

Child Development Permits
Along with a degree or certificate from Columbia College a California Child Development Permit gives graduates a competitive edge when applying for jobs. The Permit is issued by the CA Teacher Credentialing Office (not the College). The county schools offices in both Tuolumne and Calaveras counties provide applications and technical assistance in documenting that you meet the requirements.
